About Quince Orchard's Web Site
The Development
The development and redesign of Quince Orchard High School's new web site is an on-going effort that started in the summer of 2004. From the first day of development the web team has been committed to creating pages that adhere to valid standards as set fourth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Standards Project (WASP) . The team is also committed to creating pages that adhere to section 508 guidelines and web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) as set fourth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Although adherence to these guidelines does not mean that every person with a disability will be able to easily view pages at this site, it does mean that the majority of persons with disabilities should have an easier time navigating the site and finding content, etc. Please contact our web team if there are things we could do to improve the experience you have when visiting our pages.
Creating Your Own Pages
This team would like to have all pages in this site maintain a consistent look and feel, but understands that some members of the QO community would rather have the creative freedom to develop their own pages. We ask that if this applies to you please follow our posted Quince Orchard web content guidelines.
Quince Orchard High School is not responsible for content located in external sites (those residing outside the http://www.qohs.org domain). Although we take careful measure and make every effort to link to educationally sound sites, there may be instances when a site moves or comes under new ownership. If you feel we are linking to an inappropriate page or site please report the inappropriate link. Please include the page where the link resides and the URL where the link is going. For more information refer to Quince Orchard's web content guidelines.
