Quince Orchard Formosa Club
Who Are We?
Sponsored by Mrs. Sim , the purpose of the Formosa Club is to spread Taiwanese culture not only through our school but also through our community. We'd also like to help students who just immigrated from Taiwan to adjust American high school life.
In this club, you will learn a lot about Taiwanese culture, we'll be talking about Taiwanese history, aboriginal culture, religion, temples, traditonal medcine, fourtune telling & Feng Shui, performing Art, special animails plants in Taiwan, Night marking, cusine,shopping, night life in Taipei....etc. We'll also have fun activities like making our own bubble tea, chinese movie night, bake sale, listening to Taiwanese pop music....etc. We'll also invite guests to teach us how to play Diabolo( chinese yo-yo), whipping top, shuttlecock, and chinese paper craft...etc.
When We Meet
Formosa Club is a fun and educational club, please come join and support us, our meeting will be held on Friday's during lunch in Ms. Sim's room, room 229. Everyone is Welcome.
