on the 2nd Wednesday of Each Month at 7pm in the Media Center

Booster Club Mission

This All-School Booster Club offers support to the over 65 clubs and organizations along with 38 athletic teams at Quince Orchard High School. We also promote programs that help unite our community of parents, staff and local businesses to support and encourage our children.

Last Year the Booster Club:

  • provided monetary grants to the marching band, The Tracks yearbook, literary magazine, The Prowler newspaper, Student Government Association, drama productions, Chamber Singers, athletic department, stadium field maintenance, and the school beautification program
  • donated countless volunteer hours
  • supported our students by donating over $81,000 to school sponsored programs and activities
  • organized and manned the After Prom Party
  • provided the sports awards receptions and awards

The 2008-2009 Goals Include:

  • building new dugouts for the baseball and softball fields
  • building a new concession stand near the visitor stands
  • continuing to involve parents, community, and alumni to support QO
  • continuing to host the best After Prom Party

There are lots of ways to help all year round
and have fun at the same time!

  • become a member

  • attend the Capitol Steps Show - 9/7
  • purchase Moola Madness plots
  • purchase and wear QO Spirit Gear
  • honor your child/coach/teacher with a personalized brick
  • buy a hotdog at a sporting event
  • make a monetary donation
  • purchase an ad in our fall sports program or student & staff directory
  • flip burgers at a football game
  • help with the After Prom Party
  • help with sport award nights
  • help with the sale of Cougar Wear during games
  • attend our spring Barnes & Noble bookfair
  • help set up the concessions
  • help sell and deliver mulch or plants

Donate

We are very appreciative of both our volunteers and monetary donors. All of your contributions directly benefit the QO Sponsored programs and activities and therefore support our students. If you are interested in making a monetary donation you can now do so using PayPal and your Credit Card. For more information on making a donation, please either drop off a note in our QO BOOSTER CLUB mailbox (15800 Quince Orchard Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878) or contact one of our officers.

Join

Please join us by completing the membership form and mailing it in. We are excited to have you as a member and will contact you regarding volunteering if you complete the membership/information form. If you are interested in receiving email updates on both QO PTSA and Booster Club meetings and happenings, please join our group!

Support

  • Directory and Sports Program Advertisements – We invite all businesses to let us be a part of your business plan to grown your company, purchase ad space in either one or both of our fall programs. Support QOHS by completing an advertisement form!
  • Moola Madness – purchase temporary deeds for a one-square yard plot on the stadium field by completing and turning in your temporary deed. Then in November a well-fed cow will drop her meadow muffins willy-nilly all over the field and if one of the first three muffins lands in your plot... you are a winner! Proceeds help support a drug and alcohol free After Prom! Deeds will be available soon.
  • Cougar Flip Flops - IN STOCK! Flop flops with a black sole and red strap with white cougar paws are now available! These sandals are a steal at only $15.00 and they help support QOHS. Simply complete and return the order form or if you have any questions, please contact Linda Dagen.
  • Cougar Spirit Wear – This year we have two ways for you to order. We have set up an online shop which will be a great way to order QO's logo on many clothing items for your favorite QO team and have them shipped directly to your home!
    AND     Spirit Wear is also available at the Cougar Mart at all home games!
  • Wall of Fame/Buy a Brick - outside the main gym is the QO Wall of Fame where you can purchase 1 of 3 different style bricks, some with logos, to immortalize your favorite Cougar student, parent, teacher, or team. Place your order using the Buy a Brick Order Form.
  • Annual Mulch Sale - Just in time for Spring, order your Mulch and get FREE delivery with an order of 8 bags or more. Mulch will be delivered on April 4, 2009 this year.
  • Annual Plant Sale - decorate your yard and garden with these beautiful plants which will be available for pick-up on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
  • Annual Barnes & Noble Bookfair - this event is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2009.
  • After Prom Party - this incredible and fun event is tenatively scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 1am - 5am, check back for updates.
