  • CDC Disease Detective Camp - The National Center for Health Marketing's Global Health Odyssey is pleased to offer the 2008 CDC Disease Detective Camp (DDC). DDC is an academic day camp for students who will be high school juniors and seniors during the 2008-2009 school year.
  • Foresty Careers Week - The Natural Resources Careers Conference (NRCC) is a free week-long, residential summer program for high school students scheduled for Sunday, July 20, 2008 through Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Hickory Environmental Education Center, in Garrett County, Maryland

  • MEDUSA - An 8 day course designed to inform, prepare, and motivate students for a job in a medical field.
  • SciMentorNet - Office of Science Education of the National Institutes of Health Student Mentoring Program - This free web-based program links pre-screened mentors (scientists, health-care workers, clinicians) with high school students (16 years and older) who are interested in exploring a career in biomedical research, health-care or medicine.
  • Smithsonian Explainers Program - The Explainers Program provides high school and college students with a unique opportunity to work part time at the National Air and Space Museum. - Information - Application
