ProStart 1/ International Cultures and CuisinesProStart 1/ Cultures and Cuisines Grades 9-12 Cultures and Cuisine applies food preparation skills
to the study of global cultures. Opportunities are provided through
hands-on food and science labs to plan menus, prepare food, and perform
computer nutritional analysis on food. Life cycle nutrition, fitness,
consumer concerns about foods, food related global environmental problems,
and careers in nutritional sciences are also studied.
