Digital Art A- 1/2 credit
Students learn how to use the computer as an art tool. Graphics and Desktop Publishing software is used. Specific software includes MetaCreation's Painter, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe's InDesign. The first semester focuses on the basics of working with computer graphics, including file formats, size and resolution. The uses of the various tools are explored, as students continue working with elements and principles of design.

Digital Art B - 1/2 credit
Prerequisite: Attainment of outcomes in Digital Art A
Students continue working with graphics application as a production tool. Students apply their knowledge of the tools to the use of advanced techniques in creating commercial and fine art imagery.
