Varsity Football
Senior Greg Rutland was a crucial part of the Cougars' state title run. His outstanding defense and ruthlessness on the field helped the Cougars overcome a 16 point defecit in the MD 4A Final Game.
Varsity Girls Basketball
Senior captain Vicky Lisle is a four year starter on the varsity team. She led the team in assists last year and is the school record holder for the most assists in a season. Vicky's experiencee will be key to the team's success.
Varsity Boys Basketballl
Senior captain Neal Kosciulek performs well in practice and plays extremely hard in scrimages. Neal will likely be the Cougars' leading scorer and rebounder this season as they hope to get back to the regional final.
Varsity Girls Indoor Track
Senior Dounia Dokkouni came in first place in the triple jump relay. Dounia continues to be a leader on and off the track and will be a key member of the track team.
Varsity Boys Indoor Track
Caleb Malone came in second in the 55 shuttle relay. The boys indoor track team's success will rely on how well Caleb performs this season. He is one of Montgomery County's leading hurdlers.
Varsity Wrestling
Junior Arthur Holland went undefeated at the Bowie Duals Tournament and won his respective weight class. His hard work and focus will help determine how well the wrestling team does this season.
Varsity Cheerleading
Sophomore Marian Negro was pulled up from JV mid-season and has worked hard to make the transition flawless. She is dedicated and a joy to have on the squad. Marian also has maintained a 4.0 grade average.
Varsity Poms
Senior captain Meredith Bond has danced well all season and looks to lead her squad to another first place finish at their upcoming competition. She is a leader on and off the court and is a good role model.
Varsity Girls Swimming
Junior Julie Starnes is a workhorse and puts everything into whatever task is given to her. She is truly one of the swimmers that all the team, including the boys, can look up to with all her positive energy.
Varsity Boys Swimming
Senior David Somers is a strong performer on the boys swim team. He is a leader on the team and always gives his best as practice. He is a consistent performer at meets and will help lead the Cougars through their season.
