QO Athletes of the Month - Nov. 2006

FootballVarsity Football

Courtney has been a solid force on the offensive and defensive lines. His consistent play has been a main factor in the strong defense for the cougars,” said head coach Dave Mencarini.

Soccer
Varsity Boys Soccer

Siebenlist has been a strong offensive player all year for the Cougars. He has led a scoring attack that helped the team make it to the second round of the playoffs. Siebenlist was also a captain.

Girls SoccerVarsity Girls Soccer

Odenkirchen has only scored one goal, but is leading the team with eight assists and helps control the field and offensive attacks. Her play has kept other teams away from the goal this season.

Volleyball Varsity Volleyball

Romero is an outstanding libero whose passing allows the team to run a strong offense. Romero played an excellent game against Magruder, shutting down their offense.

Cross Country
Varsity Girls Cross Country

Moores finished 13th overall and second within the team, leading to a win in the County Meet. She placed 11th overall in the 4A West Region meet, where the team won.

Varsity Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Month Varsity Boys Cross Country

Darmody, one of the top 5 finishers in eight total meets this year, placed 5th overall in the County Championships and finished second overall in the 4A West Regional Final.

Cheerleading Varsity Cheerleading

“Lawrence is one of the most enthusiastic and willing cheerleaders. She’s always giving 100% and eager to try new things,” said coach Jennifer Yeck.
