Senior forward Riley had two assists and netted two goals in the team’s first two games to lead the team in scoring. She has factored in three of the teams five goals to start the season.

Senior captain Marlayna has shown leadership to the team. She has great ideas, willingness to try new things and she encourages others to try as well.

Senior co-captain Katie Ewing stands out as an all-around player, but especially on offense. She leads the team in kills and had eight kills against Springbrook Blue Devils and three aces.

Senior forward Lauren is dealing with a fractured shin injury that is not keeping her down. She is a focused and dominant leader for the team.

Senior Anya placed twelfth overall at Mount St. Mary’s in her first cross country race. Her finish helped lead her team to place third of 20 teams.

Varsity Football Athlete of the Month Varsity Football

In two football games, junior quarterback Pepper completed 78 percent of his passes for 360 yards and six touchdowns. He also has not turned the ball over, helping the Cougars to a great start.

Junior forward Andrew has played well in the first games this season scoring the game-tying goal with less than a minute left in the team’s opener versus the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles.

Junior Greg set a Quince Orchard High School record at the Peter Geography meet, leading the team to a second place finish of 22 schools.
