QO Athletes of the Month - Nov. 2005

QO FootballFootball

Bani has been a menace to opposing teams on both offense and defense. He rushed for 751 yards on 131 carries with 12 touchdowns. He also has forced some very key fumbles for the team this year.

QO Girls SoccerGirls Soccer

Kiki is the heart and soul of the team. She scored seven goals and four assists in about 13 games this season, missing some due to injury. She is dedicated and will do anything to help her team win.

QO Boys SoccerBoys Soccer

Alex, a senior captain, has shut down the opponents’ best forward all season long. His leadership and dedication are a big reason the Cougars have turned it around over the second half of the season.

QO Girls VolleyballGirls Volleyball

As co-captain, senior Katie is an on-court leader. She has led the team in kills, aces, and was the "go-to" player. She is an all-around standout. She has been selected to play in the senior all-star game at Magruder.

QO Boys Cross CountryBoys Cross Country

Josh is the teams top boy. Throughout the season he set 3 school course records for the sophomores. He was also a big part of the team winning their division for the first time in 11 years and finished third in states.

QO Girls Cross CountryGirls Cross Country

The girls top runner throughout the season Anya ran through adversity and injury through much of the season and was still the number one girl in four of the meets she competed in. She also helped the girls to get fifth in states.

QO Field HockeyField Hockey

Emily was the leader this season. She broke a school record for goals in a season, scoring 25. The mark was perviously held by Jesse Dorney. Her work ethic is excellent and she will be back next year to take the team far.

QO Girls TennisGirls Tennis

Senior Alice has been a great asset to the team, playing number one singles for four years. This year, as team captain, she helped the team maintain their Division I ranking. Alice also has a dedicated work ethic.
